I have had a couple of emails and seen some forum posts asking for my over all thoughts..
Typing all this up is time consuming, but If I get it all down here then hopefully that will clear some space in my brain for the next thing..
I am hoping to get some sort of MP3 player/recorder tonight so I can brain dump to MP3, I cant record onto my pc as I have the washing machine and dryer going (see what a rock n roll lifestyle i have)..
Ok so question and answer time.. I do realise that this section may make me look like a lunatic who talks to himself.. buy hey those of you who know me are used to me by now..
Overall was it good value?
Well It only cost me $29 , I actually won a competition run by Dirk Wagner , I am on his list and he really does give great deals, I bought one of his products (which i wanted anyway) and entered a raffle and I won.
Dirk runs the most amazing deals at his Crazy Weekend Deal site and I would definitely say that this man is probably going to have changed my life.
I met people there who had paid $700+ and they were over the moon with what good value they had received..
I do think a lot of “value” is perceived, if someone decides they are going to soak up all they can and take value from everyone then they will have got a bargain at even $1400..
No 1 Thing you learned at the Internet Marketing Superconference?
I thought going in that I would learn about adsense and products and copywriting…
While I did learn about them, I even bought Joe Sugarmans offer (he needs the money to keep his young wife in jeans, and boy what a pair of jeans they were..) now I just have to work out where I have a tape player to listen to the tapes..lol
The most important lessons for me were..
Vision of a Goal
Not just “i want to be successfull” or “I want money” but a real vision..
Tom bell said that it is no good setting you goal at “I want a big house”. You need to make the dream real, take a photo of the house you want, write down a description of it.
I think it was Richard Schefren (a genius who sent my brain into tailspins) who said that once you have that goal, work out which baby steps you are going to take to get there..
The analogy I used to my wife is that if we were driving from St George, Utah to Chicago we wouldn’t just go.. We would plan a route and take breaks and stops.
If you earn $20K this year online and want to earn $100K next year, then it is going to be hard to do it.
If you earn $20k and aim at $30K as the first stop on the journey to the goal of $100k then it appears more possible.
Once you have taken a break at the $30K pit stop , then you can aim yourself at the $40k one.
Keep on aiming at a target a little bit ahead and eventually you will be at $100k
So Paul what are you picking as your goal?
I don’t know yet..
