Afternoon all..

Last night was good after the conference I went out to dinner with my wife and a good friend of mine Jim Lodwig..

We had great food (I love the Olive Garden) and the company was all you could want, funny interesting and my wife put up with me and Jim throwing around crazy ideas.. More of those another day..

He was on stage with his fiancee Sylvee (sp?) and they spoke about Cash Magnets..

The product that we know michel for is Context Cash, I remember my friend Leslie telling me about it and how good it was.. and I did nothing.. Sorry leslie..

Now I can see the power of this product for the right site.. I actually have one site that I am going to look at when i get back home as I think it is perfect for this.

anyway..

michel showed some stats for his sites when he converted them from a normal HTML site to one made with wordpress..

his stats went through the roof.. then he showed us the stats for when he added a plug in .. a Google Sitemap plug in.

I havent tried it and I know there are more than this one available..

Now this man hit a nerve, not just because I actually went without dessert to come and see him, but because he went right to the heart of my problem straight away.

I bet most of you have the same problem..

no plan, no vision, no direction..

I do very well over all with Affiliate marketing, Adsense and My own products, I earn more than I would do in a average job, and (now dont tell my wife this) I work less than I would do in a normal job.

Richard Schefren describes how I can earn twice and much and work even less..

He went through it all very quickly and I can believe him when he says he has ADD, but man he is a genius..

In a hour and a half he made me feel like crying, not from being nasty but by making me realise that I could give myself and my family total freedom if I planned instead of doing.

Mike Filsaime (who spoke yesterday) spoke at the end , Richard has been his mentor for a while, and said that before he entered the mentoring program that Richard offers he was running his business as a “hit and run” enterprise.

How many of us run our business that way?

Build a site get a few sales and move on to the next product, build another site and go through the cycle again.

Richard talked about having a vision.. have a vision.. what do I want to achieve?

“make a living” is not a vision, Most of us can make a “living” easily in a JOB, so if we just want to make a living online then we might as well stay in the JOB.

This hit such a nerve with me it took my breath away, What is my vision?

I don’t honestly know..

That is a scary think to admit to anyone, but admiting it to myself was the hardest thing.

I knew I would learn things at this conference but this one really hit home , I am building a Income when I should be building a business..

So think about yourself, What are you building?

Richard also spoke about effective working time.. He showed some surveys that had figures for ceo’s of Fortune 500 companies and how much time a day they spent building their business.

The figure was 28 minutes a day..

They are at work for 8 or 10 hours  a day but they are only building their business for 28 minutes….

I was a bit dubious..

Then when he started mentioning about things that waste time.. forum postings (lets be honest most of which are often rubbish) , talking to your friends on MSN, looking at adsense figures every 10 minutes, checking paypal, checking clickbank, checking emails every 10 minutes..

Well I think 28 minutes is a lot higher than most of us actually achieve..

Richard has made me realise that I need to review my process and make a plan..

I will be honest.. I dont know what I REALLY want.. yes I would like a bigger house (but not a bigger mortgage), yes I would like to get my wife a nicer car, but do i REALLY WANT them…

Once I decide what I really want then I have a goal..

Once I have a goal all I need to do is get a plan of how to get there…

I am at the Internet marketing superconference in las Vegas until sunday..

On stage in front of me is Len Thurmond and he is running through his new tool..

To me so far it looks like a extremely upscale version of Niche creator.. and I do mean extremely upscale..

It has serp results scraping (but it takes away the links) it has linking stratergys built in, it has a template builder in it, it has so much more stuff that I cant even remember..

It uses tokens for adsense, copyrights etc..

He mentioned earlier “put your keyword list in and when someone looks for your page it is created on the fly by My servers”

Is the wording that I question.. He has also not mentioned the situation which was mentioned with Niche creator..

The search engines are sending crazy page requests to sites and if they get a response then they know that the pages are being created on the fly..

Because lets be honest who has a page called

on their site?

Someone described this sort of tool as a 404 generator rather than a page generator, which really refers to the fact that people search for a page that isnt there (which would normally get a 404 page) and builds one.

The software is desktop based and looks good..

To be fair it looks very good..

But of course Len is aiming at selling a lot of these, on a monthly bases so how long the gravy train will last I dont know.

It has always seemed to me that the guys who make money are ones who are in small group systems.

If you have 100 -200 people using the same software then its one thing, if you have 500 using it then it is a whole different ball game.

Len is only releasing this product for 3 days and I am sure it will be a huge success, and the deal he is offering us is great..

But am I buying..No.. I suppose releasing my own tools and working with my own programmer has made me a bit of a rebel.. and a bit wary of anything that is auto generated.

I am also wary of any program that needs to use someone elses server to make my sites operate, what if he drops dead, what if his server blows up, what if his main server gets hacked .. I know these things arent lightly to happen.. but what if..

I like my web pages static and there.. i have sites earning me money every day that I havent even looked at in a year, i know they are there still as I see the clicks
