It is Friday afternoon and Andrew Peacock from sunny Scotland (he has a blog about automation) has just depressed me with the comment he made on yesterdays post – but the increased weight isn’t what I need help with, well not yet.
This blog has been getting more and more visitors every day, this month is the highest amount of uniques ever and a good number of you are bookmarking the site, this means one of two things:-
- You are all mad
- I am making at least some useful and interesting posts
I started this blog out for people who know me from various forums and maybe a few of you are here from links in the manuals for my software, I appreciate each and every one of you that comes to read anything of mine at all.
I think you deserve a better looking site and that’s what I need help with..
Do you know of a WordPress template that you feel would be perfect for my blog?
Maybe you design templates and would like to do one for me, I get a cool design and you get a permanent link from my site as well as a blog post or two about how wonderful you are..lol
Maybe you find fiddling with templates a piece of cake and wouldn’t mind poking around in the dark depths of one to get it how I want..
Questions..
Could I do it myself? yes I do poke around in php and html but I don’t like it and I am now feeling that I am better spending the time doing something that doesn’t make me swear..
What can I offer in return? well if you suggest a template and I use it I will happily give you a honorable mention on here , if you do the chopping and changing for me I am sure I can offer you not only notoriety but probably some of my software as well, if you want to sully our relationship by asking for cash I can consider that as well.
I know you come here for the content not the look, but a more eye catching look would help I think?
Also if you have any WordPress Plugins or WordPress widgets that you think everyone should have let me know..
