January already..
I had a skype call from my friend Brian on Friday, I met him at the Internet Marketing Superconference in Vegas in June last year.
We were chatting about when the 2007 Internet marketing superconference was going to be and although neither of us had any idea when it is we agreed there was a good chance we would meet up there.
I found it interesting that we were both willing to pay $100’s of dollars to go to a conference where we had no idea who the speakers would be yet.
Although we work online we are both looking for a reason to meet up in person, and the benefits from meeting in person are huge.
Even with the ease of making a call using skype and video calls we still see the benefit of meeting up face to face.
The best thing about any sort of conference is the people you meet, the contacts I made at the conference in June were invaluable and they are still making me income every day..
If you can go to a conference do so, even if you aren’t sure about the speakers, you will make such good contacts that it will pay for itself quickly..
Internet marketing conferences are definitely something I hope to get more involved with in 2007..

I haven’t yet been to a “Superconference” but will definitely check it out once it’s announced. My first seminar was less than three months ago in Orlando. JV Alert was amazing and you’re absolutely right about seminars making a difference for your business. I’m personally heading to JV Alert and will be putting on my own Midwest IM Seminar in July.
