My “office” is atually also the food storage cupboard and the water heater is in there with me so my office is probably 6 foot by 4 foot.. well maybe 8 feet by 4 feet..
So how do I make the best use of so little space..
Well to be honest .. I don’t
I am surrounded by ebooks I have printed out (just put together with paper clips or bulldog clips) and bits of research paper, keyword lists and newspaper articles I cut out for research.
Well this weekend we decided to start organizing the office.
Bind the ebooks or throw them away?
I don’t know about you but I have trouble reading a ebook on my pc or laptop so I like to print stuff out and take it to bed with me (romantic I know)..
But when the ebook is held together by paperclips it has a habit of getting out of order and bits drop out onto the floor, they then get messed up and it all becomes such a pain that I end up just dumping it to one side..
Kathy bought me a binder for my birthday and boy did it get some use on saturday..
I am looking at the pile of ebooks I bound on saturday as we speak, it is at least a foot high, thats a lot of paper and paper clips laying around on the floor of my office.
I actually spent a couple of hours just working out which ebooks to keep and which to dump.. I dumped a lot that are no longer relevant to me or I just dont want to follow the path that they lead down.
The two hours I spent resulted in 9 ebooks all nicely bound and ready to read, it also resulted in a bin full of paper.
Ok So if you are in the habit of printing out ebooks.. BUY A BINDER..
The one I have is very basic and hand operated and cost less than $50 I believe.
Ok so part one of office organization is over…
