Recently Ed Dale announced that he is reversing into a company that has a nasdaq listing (ok reverse takeover is the proper term, but the image of a crazy aussie reversing into wall street struck me as funnier) and so his company will be listed on the stock market and people will be able to buy shares.
I am not an insider so I have no idea what sort of money Ed’s companies make but to even consider listing I am sure he makes more than a few quid.
We often see people selling products based on the fact that they make “$10k a month” or even “$100k a year” (they seem to be very popular figures). I am guessing that $10k a month wouldn’t pay the wage bill for the 30 day crew and the immediate edge (maybe i am wrong and it is actually only Ed Dale and Dan Raines and they have no staff).
So what has made them so successful ?
Is it because they started out with a plan to be huge from day one and followed it through?
Is it the time they spend finding niches?
Is it the system they have in place to take advantage of every opportunity they see?
Is it the fact that they had capital to start with and so they employed staff from day one, so there was none of the days of trying to do everything themselves?
Making a couple of grand a month online is nice, making $100k a year is nicer, making so much coin that you are going to be listed on the stockmarket is something else altogether.
The normal thing is to think that they are some sort of super genius and have brain power that the rest of us can never hope to have, with all respect to ed and his team I am not sure he is some super brainiac, maybe some of his team are?
I have been talking to two people over the last few days about 2009 – which isn’t far away now.
I have started making new slide shows and movies to use as inspiration and I am rearranging my office space to be able to start making better use of the space I have.
What makes the difference between a $100k a year business (which is only $35-$50k after all the expenses are out i bet) and one that brings in enough money to provide the capital needed to do a reverse takeover..
This is a honest question so if anyone has any ideas or thoughts I would like to hear them..
